What was the highlight of Thermal Hotel Visegrád
Get there early to enjoy the thermal pools and book Victoria for a massage
The thermal pools were great, a little colder than I would have liked but they were very clean and being out in the -3 weather whilst in a warm pool, was really fun; not to mention they were open until 9pm. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was big; having a private sauna was a novelty (it takes about 45 minutes to get to the recommended temperature). Staff were generally friendly and the standard of English was great, the evening wait staff even humoured my bad Hungarian. The two massage therapists we had, Victoria and a blonde lady I don’t remember the name of, were both incredible. I have had massages and spa experiences all over the world and Victoria was probably my favourite, she was surprisingly strong and managed to pick out knots and tightness and work through them beautifully. I really appreciate how much effort they put in with speaking English too, I can’t imagine how much harder their job is when they’re using a second language.
There was mention of an Al a Carte dinner menu but this was never mentioned on site; both being vegetarian left us very little dinner choices on the buffet but breakfast was much better. I was surprised that we didn’t get access to the welfare area on the day of checkout, you would assume this would be included, especially being in the most expensive room and even more so when I paid for an additional massage for both of us, on the day of checkout. We also never got bath robes like everyone else in the welfare area did, not sure if these were missed in our room preparation or not.

What was the highlight of Thermal Hotel Visegrád
Nice place to relax for couples or families at a beautiful location.
Beautiful spacious room, great view from balcony. Good variety for breakfast and dinner. The spa was excellent and never too crowded.
I stayed in the Premium Grand Suite which is their largest room with private infrasauna and jacuzzi which was the reason I wanted to book there. But the jacuzzi did not work and the sauna took forever to heat up so we could not enjoy them as much as we wanted. The shower door let the water leak every time we showered so for the rest of the day the whole bathroom was flooded. At lunchtime the reastaurant was slow.

Wonderful stay in Visegrad.
Clean, spacious room. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. the breakfast and the dinner were fantastic, many options - including vegetarian and healthy versions. The hotel has an incredible view over the Pilis mountains.
The room wasn't soundproof.
